What are we working on in class? This is here for you to review, practice, or catch up on what you missed! So feel free to scroll down until you get to what you are looking for!I've got lots of video tutorials for you on my YouTube Channel.
Tuesday Flow - March 11
We worked on Warriors 1 and 2 and Triangle pose. FYI, some teachers will refer to them as Warrior A and B. Same poses, just different names!
Warrior 1 (A)
Warrior 2 (B)
Triangle Pose
We also let out our inner child and played with boat pose and flower pose by rocking and rolling to find our balance. Not only to these poses work our balance but they also work the corse muscles of the body... and our sense of humor, which never hurts!
Boat & Flower Pose
Wednesday Mindful Movement - March 12

We worked on finding balance and movement simultaneously realizing that it takes 3 things:
all of the little muscles in our feet and ankles
our focus and sight - in Yoga we call our "spot" to help us balance a drishti.
core engagement
Finding movement in Tree Pose, toe Squat, and Dancer Pose
*We used the bouncy balls to help loosen up the muscles in the bottom of our feet!
Here is a link to the balls on Amazon!
If you dont want a whole bag of balls, just look near the check at your local grocery store! Sometimes there are kids' toy dispensers that carry them and you can buy one for .25c
And here is a short and sweet hip-focused yoga flow based on what we did in class!
As a bonus, I have a video on how to do Bound Angel Pose (or Baddha Konasana) with a strap! I love this one and its a great hip-focused stretch for this week!

Reflections:
Why did you come to your mat this week? What is your "why?" Its a big question, so let that stick with you while you ponder it a bit. Maybe it will go into your journal this week!
Any good or positive feelings that you cultivate and grow on your mat get to leave with you and it is an energy that you can share and spread. What positive* feelings did you walk away wih and how might you spread that to others?
*positive feelings include but are not limited to: love, grace, gratitude, hope, joy, happiness, serenity, presence, or peace
